Okopod Our Process

Designing your perfect backyard space has never been easier with the Okopod modular concept. Begin by discussing your ideas over a video call, helping you to make an informed decision on the size and scope of your new project.

Our design consultant will guide you through selecting the style that best suits your preferences. From sustainable materials to flooring options, finishes, and trims, you’ll have the freedom to create your own Okopod. Choose from various roof styles, window shapes, sizes, and door types to tailor your space exactly to your liking.

Our team will prepare a detailed set of CAD drawings that include all your chosen specifications—from layout and structure to finishes and fittings for you to sign off. These drawings give you a final opportunity to confirm every detail of your backyard pod before we move into production. Once approved, they’re sent directly to our workshop, where we begin crafting your custom built Pod.

A week before installation, we’ll prepare the site and complete the groundworks in just one day. Thanks to our innovative Okobase foundations, we take a minimal approach to ground preparation, ensuring a hassle-free process.

We’ll produce working CAD drawings for your specific project and send them to our workshop. There, our skilled craftsmen will meticulously produce the Okopod to exact specifications. Each pod undergoes rigorous quality checks before leaving the factory.

Most of our Okopods are delivered in modular form for on-site assembly, following a simple 3-stage process spread over a 7-day period.

Day 1 – Installation of structure
Day 2 – Electrics and Roof
Day 3 – Completion

Alternatively, when possible we crane fully assembled Okokpods into their new home. The Okopod is fully assembled off site, resulting in a one-day process.
