It completely depends on the usage of the pod, if the client can specify what they will use it for and what high power items they will use in the pod then we can let the electrician know to ensure they get enough power to the pod.

As with the groundworks and permitting, we reach out to local contractors often within our network and have them provide quotes.

Check for over head power lines, check its not a busy street, if no overhead power lines then contact crane companies to see feasibility. Busy streets will need closures which can be expensive but can be quoted. Overhead power lines would need to be taken down with a road closure and gets crazy expensive. Make sure that the crane can get within 120ft of the drop zone. If not it may be possible to slide the pod the rest of the way. Will need further reviewing.

We will be getting site specific quotes form the contractors and permitters for each individual job.

Modular and crane installs in California. Crane only outside of CA but this will change as we get to know more contractors who we can teach to carry out the installs. If the client has a competent team of contractors this could be an option and we can send 1 person over to show them how to put it together. We will provide all materials and they will provide all labor.

We can assist with the permitting and have a network of architects and engineers, we choose the right person for the specific job, If you have used an architect in the past and were happy with their services or know one we would love to chat to them and check if they are suited to the project.

We can help to arrange your groundworks by using our network of contractors, we will reach out and arrange for contractors to come and provide a quotation, equally if you have your own contractors you have used before we can share the drawings with them to quote and discuss with them the requirements.

Yes, bathrooms can be installed, in some cases it’s necessary to install pumps to direct waste back to the main house system. Our groundwork team is equipped to assist with this as well.

Yes, we build home additions. We have a fully building compliant system that we use for this, which incorporates our eco builds with our factory efficiency to give you a super modern and new age extension in a fraction of the time to conventional building.

All our builds are insulated as standard which includes floor, walls and roofs. As standard we insulate our garden rooms with sheepswool in the floors and ceilings and mineral wool in the walls, we use these insulation for their eco credentials and sustainability whilst also giving great performance in all conditions.

In almost all cases, we can work around this cleanly and efficiently. We can offer to bring the Okopod through the house and we have also been known to crane our Okopods over the house.

In most cases we are able to deliver and install Okopods anywhere in the USA. We also delivery internationally, but this will be at an additional cost, please enquire for more information.

As standard all our Okopods have an allowance for electrics which included. You can add as many additional electrics as many as you wish. We are also able to connect the Okopod to your house but this will need quoting on a case by case basis.

We use our innovative Steel Okobase Foundation system, which required no concrete and can be used on any ground condition. We can also build directly onto a suitable pre-existing concrete base.
