Architect's Home Studio Featured on UK's Channel 4 - Extraordinary Extension

We are thrilled to announce that we are featured in Series 2, Episode 3 of UK’s Channel 4’s Extraordinary Extensions, presented by Tinie Tempah.

The episode highlights a client’s need to separate their home space from their studio. As an architect, the client was drawn to Okopod for our commitment to quality materials and attention to detail in design. The fully prefabricated construction of the Pod allowed for craning into position, minimizing disruption on site.

This stunning Pod features Cedar bar-code profile siding and a cleverly concealed entrance door. The hip roof design not only adds a unique architectural element but also allows for a dramatic skylight, creating an interior space that feels light and open due to the increased ceiling height.

Additionally, the Pod is topped with standing seam roofing, characterized by raised vertical seams that give it a sleek, modern appearance while ensuring a watertight seal. Known for its durability and low maintenance, this roofing option offers excellent protection against all weather conditions, including wind, rain, and snow.
