Brief

The clients had an awkwardly shaped, leftover corner in their garden that they were eager to put to good use. After exploring their options, they decided a bespoke garden room would be the perfect solution, ensuring that no space was wasted and the new addition would fit seamlessly into their existing garden layout. The clients had recently added a stylish extension to their home, featuring distinctive burnt timber cladding. To maintain a cohesive aesthetic throughout the property, they wanted the garden room to complement both the new extension and the surrounding fence.

The Okopod team was able to meet this request, sourcing a matching material that harmonised with the property’s design while also reflecting the client’s personal style. The garden room was crafted to fit the awkward corner perfectly, providing a fully functional space that integrated with the rest of the garden.

Inside, the pod was designed with flexibility and multi-purpose use in mind. It includes a compact gym area, allowing the homeowners to keep up with their fitness routine from the comfort of their own backyard. Additionally, the pod doubles as an office space, offering a peaceful, dedicated area to work from home. For practicality, the Okopod team incorporated a hidden side storage space, keeping the garden free from clutter and adding further functionality to the structure.

To complete the project, the design was beautifully integrated into the garden through the use of decking and expert landscaping. This thoughtful approach ensured the garden room blended naturally into its surroundings, enhancing the overall look and feel of the garden.
