Factory Constuction
Our Pods are constructed off-site in a controlled environment, allowing for precise craftsmanship, reduced waste, and a more sustainable, cost-effective build. Once complete, Pods are delivered either fully assembled by truck and craned into place, or in sections for our expert team to install efficiently on-site.

Our builds generate only ⅕ of the waste compared to traditional builds through leveraging factory efficiency to help reduce waste to nearly zero. Additionally, our innovative Okobase raft system requires minimal digging and eliminates the need for concrete in our Pod's foundations.
Our buildings are designed with exceptional thermal insulation, ensuring they remain comfortable and energy-efficient throughout every season. By using high-performance insulation materials in both the walls and roof, we minimize heat loss in winter and reduce overheating in summer, keeping interior temperatures stable and reducing the need for artificial heating and cooling. This not only makes the space more pleasant to use year-round but also helps to significantly lower energy consumption and utility bills. Whether you're using your pod as a workspace, guest suite, or creative studio, you can count on a comfortable environment with reduced environmental impact.
Our materials require little to no maintenance and are thoughtfully chosen for easy repurposing or recycling at the end of their lifespan.
We use low carbon aluminum made by electricity through hydropower plants .Our thermafleece insulation has a low embodied energy of manufacture for every ton manufactured, more than 300kg of carbon dioxide is removed from the atmosphere. Our cork flooring is Corka which is carbon negative and is the recipient of a prestigious Blue Angel rating which is a German Government scheme which awards exceptionally environmentally friendly products.

The birch trees we use are a fast-growing species native to north-eastern Europe, the abundance and speed of growth of Birch trees means that it causes minimal devastation or destruction of biodiversity when they are cut down, making Birch plywood a sustainable choice that has little impact on the environment. We also have a programme for planting trees, for every Pod we sell.
