Our client, a passionate painter, struggled to find a suitable space in their home where they could fully enjoy their hobby. The biggest challenge was the need for a space where they could leave their tools and canvas out, ready to pick up right where they left off. That’s when the idea of a garden pod came into play—a perfect solution for a dedicated, creative space right at the end of their garden.

The project posed an interesting challenge for Okopod, as the available space was an unusual triangular plot at the far end of the garden. However, with our bespoke approach to design, this was no issue. Each of our pods is custom-built to meet the specific needs of our clients and make the best use of their available space.

The design for this pod was kept simple and elegant, with a roof light that floods the room with natural light, making it an ideal environment for painting. The pod is also fully insulated and connected to electricity, ensuring the space stays warm and comfortable all year round. With proper heating and lighting, the client can even paint late into the night if they wish.

This custom-built garden pod now provides our client with a peaceful, functional space to embrace their creativity without the need to pack everything away after each session. It’s a place where inspiration can flourish without interruption.
