Our client approached us with a need for a garden office that could comfortably accommodate two people working simultaneously. The solution? Our Porch Pod, featuring an extended roof, side walls, and decking that create a beautifully sheltered outdoor space. This design not only provides protection from the elements but also adds a sense of depth and style, giving the pod a sophisticated, modern look.

One of the standout features of this pod is its sleek, flat roof combined with a modular design that allows for easy customisation. The overhanging roof also presented an excellent opportunity to incorporate spotlights, bringing the pod to life with warm lighting at night.

What made this project even more special was the client’s request to finish the exterior facade with Corten metal (weathering steel). This material is known for its unique aesthetic appeal, developing a striking rust-like patina over time that gives it a warm, earthy tone. The weathered look complements both modern and natural surroundings, making the pod a perfect addition to the outdoor landscape.
