Our clients approached us with a vision: to create a space that would capture breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. They desired a relaxing environment for meditation and exercise, where they could unwind and rejuvenate.

The design of the pod beautifully incorporates natural light, featuring warm plywood finishes that create an inviting atmosphere. A bright orange rubber heavy duty gym floor adds a playful touch, allowing the clients to express their creativity through color choices outside the ‘main home’ environment.

For the exterior, the pod is clad in Yakisugi, a traditional Japanese technique that naturally preserves wood through charring. This method not only enhances durability and water resistance but also lends a stunning aesthetic to the structure.

The pod features a striking single-pitch roof that rises from back to front, adding an element of architectural interest and creating additional height within the space.

Insulated to a high standard, the pod is suitable for year-round use, providing a comfortable retreat no matter the season.

Our clients couldn’t be happier with their new pod, and they are now considering adding another one to create an extra bedroom for their home. This project showcases how thoughtful design can transform a space into a sanctuary, perfectly suited for relaxation and enjoyment.
